An Autism Improvised Transitions Program
Young men and women ages 16-22+ who are college bound, headed for the competitive workforce and relatively independent living. (Eligibility requirements.)
Our transitions programs, Code Breakers and Bright Paths, help our young adults break the code and gain a better grasp of social cues and communication. A robust approach to real life issues, these programs are tailored to the needs of the group. Through role play, understanding context, and coached discussion in a
supportive and non-judgmental environment, our participants hone their critical thinking skills and gain the self-reliance toward success in all aspects of daily living.
Typically, SIX intensive weekly classes for highly motivated young adults. Must have language skills strong enough to participate in discussions that develop critical thinking and self-advocacy skills.
